Gaydon, Warwickshire, 04 February 2010 – The treacherous road conditions experienced over the last month have further boosted Land Rover sales in the UK.Sales for January 2010 were up 58% versus January 2009 nearly doubling the industry average – with Discovery up 92%, Range Rover Sport up 66%, Freelander up 57% and Range Rover up 24%.

Wiltshire County Council are proposing to close a byway near to Stonehenge. Comments are invited from interested parties on the proposal for a Prohibition of Driving at Stonehenge World Heritage Site details of which are set out in the documents HERE
Readers are encouraged to write in with their comments. It seems that the Council wish to use the byway (or close to it), to transport visitors to and from the ancient site. Of course, they will charge for this - currently the byway is free.
